THEATER: Multi-talented and multi-gender performer Justin Bond – the beloved Tony-nominated Kiki from Kiki & Herb – vows to heat up the frigid East Village with Lustre, A Midwinter Trans-Fest. The cabaret show, which opened last night, promises to be a "fast and loose" night of music, dance and monologues for, by, or about transgender people, with a smattering of "neo-pagan revolutionary Appalachian-inspired folk songs." Bond's joined in the festivities by musical director Our Lady J, Glenn Marla, Nathan Carrera, and The Pixie Harlots – as well as special guests including Taylor Mac and M. Lamar. – John Del Signore
PARTY: Get your post-Valentines Day groove on with a nice, wholesome Flirt Party. Babeland will be hosting the soiree at their store; serving up hors d'ouvres, cocktails and the chance to meet the man/woman of your dreams. Or just browse the vibrators while the deejay spins hook-up music ranging from soul to funk.

MUSIC: You may know Taken By Trees (aka Victoria Bergsman, pictured) as the singer for The Concretes, and it's likely you heard her voice in the Peter, Bjorn and John hit "Young Folks". COMEDY: The UCB Theater (who, incidentally, has a shiny new website) welcomes Dave Hill tonight for his usual Explosion of amazingness. His guests this evening are Amy Sedaris and Bob Mould (can't beat that!), so get ready for 35 minutes of reading, singing, maybe some dancing, and definitely some talking.
