MOVIE: As the Oscars approach, take a look back at one of the past films to be granted a golden statue. Tonight Agatha Christie's classic mystery Murder on the Orient Express leaps from the page to the big screen when the 1974 movie is shown at Film Forum. Starring Ingrid Bergman, Lauren Bacall and Anthony Perkins, the movie will help you hone your crime-solving skills (and possibly make you think twice about taking Amtrak).

6 and 8:30pm // Film Forum [209 W Houston St] // $10.50

THEATER: Catherine Filloux’s one act play Killing The Boss isn’t about a right-wing Springsteen hater, but rather an American playwright named Eve who tries to assassinate the prime minister of an unnamed, oppressed nation. Known throughout the land as The Boss, the karaoke-singing tyrant proves a formidable target for Eve, and soon her family is combing the strange land in search of her. Writing for the Times, Caryn James calls it “beautifully performed and touching… Dale Soules is pitch-perfect as Eve’s mother and John Daggett is extraordinarily alive as Eve’s husband, Doug, an actor who walks with a cane because he has multiple sclerosis.” – John Del Signore

7pm // Cherry Lane Studio Theatre [38 Commerce St] // Tickets cost $19

MUSIC: Whether you're for or against folk music, you'll probably enjoy the sounds that make up the Antifolk Fest tonight at Sidewalk Cafe. The annual winter extravaganza isn't really against folk music, and it kicks off tonight with performances by Kenny Cambre, Andrew Duncan, Ben Krieger, Kelsey Bennett, Dan Costello, Art Sorority For Girls and Carl Creighton.

7:30pm // Sidewalk Cafe [94 Ave A] // Free, 2 drink minimum

200802simpsonseveryday.jpgEVENT: Come celebrate YouTube Tuesdays in Williamsburg. The six-hour event will take the viral videos we all love, and love to hate, off your laptop and onto the big screen. Think of some of your favorite clips, because requests are allowed, and recommended! (Pictured: Homer Simpson as famed YouTuber Noah Kalina.)

10pm // Cyn Lounge [216 Bedford Ave, Williamsburg] // Free

REMINDER: Michel Gondry's Be Kind Rewind exhibit opened up earlier this week at Deitch. Head over there before it closes up shop on March 22nd.
