The seemingly inevitable closing of Florent is utterly heartbreaking, and so stupid. Has the landlord seen that block? Why drive out the only business that's managed to consistently bring in money for decades while every other effort to start a restaurant there has folded within months?
Yes Zodak. I am tireless defender of proper grammar. And just because I happened to be home last night reading gothamist at midnight has no bearing on the quality of my social life. I happened to go out every night during the week and was enjoying a night at home because I was fucking tired.
That, and also quite satisfied with my dinner of oysters en gelée, followed by a filet of beef with foie gras sauce. This was washed washed down with a glass of 2003 Grüner Veltliner from Austria, then some 2005 Burgundy. You stupid asshole.
