This year, as part of their month-long hot chocolate festival, City Bakery is serving up all of their killer hot chocolate that you can drink, along with nibbles and drinks from Saxelby Cheesemongers, Rick's Picks, Chocolat Moderne, Bottlerocket Wine & Spirits, and Tuthilltown Distillery. If you've got cash to spare, head to the Astor Culinary Center for the utmost in luxury -- a five course foie gras tasting menu paired with a vertical tasting of eight vintages of Château d'Yquem. Yours for a mere $1295.00 (for two). 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. Tickets and more information online.

Or you can go the cheap route. 67 Wine and Spirits will be giving out free red velvet cupcakes from Magnolia Bakery and tastings of sparking wines from Iron Horse Vineyard. 4:00 - 7:00 p.m., 179 Columbus Avenue at West 68th Street.
