Itching to jump back into Liberty City yet? The New GTA IV website has been launched, in preparation for the quickly approaching April release. The previews so far have been somewhat light on details, but the site finally sheds some light into what kind of trouble you can expect to get into while traversing a virtual NYC.
To start, our virtual Queens is a land called "Dukes." Here, we've got a baseball team not so creatively called The Swingers, which is home of a bunch of double entendres and "scoring" jokes. Keith Hernandez was unavailable for comment. Nearby is Steinway Beer Garden, a sprawling outdoor watering hole not unlike the one in Astoria. Watch the virtual tour below. OMG you can pee on walls just like IRL!
Heading across the river to "Algonquin" (Manhattan), we focus on "Star Junction," which seems to look a whole lot like Times Square. There's a big, merch-driven chain restaurant called "The Superstar Cafe" and a Stomp-esque show titled Banging Trash Can Lids for an Hour! Sounds delightful. A bit further north is The Majestic Hotel, which looks like it's seen better days.
There are some more details on the site, but surely this is only a tiny sampling of what's to come once the full game is released. As we've seen from the trailers, there are plenty of recognizable city landmarks strewn throughout the game. Even if you're not so keen on killing prostitutes and gunning down gangsters, there'll surely be a ton of detail to keep any New Yorker wrapped up in this world.

I love shooting people. I love making cars explode. I love pimping out my girls. I love running errands for the mob. I love getting the Pay N Spray before Johnny Law hauls me off to jail. I love my rocket launcher. I love shooting helicopters down.
Right now, I'm still in San Andreas, being a gangsta.
I play, then I go off to my job as a mild-mannered reporter.

Think we ought to balance this post and put up some anti-Asian or anti-Jew parts of this video game.
Just to piss off everyone, including those of those persuasions who run this blog.
