Grisly! A totally crazy video of a Midtown fight is on Live Leak. The person who posted it wrote:
I was sleeping in my hotel room when people screaming in the street woke me up. It was around 5:30 AM, two groups of drunk peoples were fighting in the street. The guy with the white escalade run over a guy on the ground and run away ! I gave the video to the police. However the guy that have been run over has his hips dislocated and his knees broken.The video is pretty nuts. We've put in a call to the NYPD to see if an investigation was opened.
Date : Sunday Feb. 3rd / Location : Lexington and E 48th, Manhattan
Update: The NYPD's public information office called us back. The 17th Precinct has seen the video and is investigating the matter. No more information could be released, lest it jeopardize the case.

Wow. my heart was pounding watching this. One of the craziest videos I have seen in awhile, but yet a typical night in NYC with drunk people from New Jersey.

i would assume the parking garage the cars were coming out of would have cameras w/ all the license plate #s needed to make full arrests.

wherever they are from it is clear this what happens when the proletariats either have too much time on thier hands (out at 5:30AM) or too much money with none of the decorum(as evidenced by the Escalade).
Reinstate the 7 day work week and many crimes like this will drastically decrease.

It was also the lead on Fox 5! A manager (I think) at a nearby hotel said there were tons of people fighting that night - and she said all of this while smiling and almost laughing at the memory!
