Last Night's Action: Unlucky Seven

  • Pacers 103, Knicks 100: Remember in the 90s when these teams enjoyed one of the best rivalries in sports? Those were the days. In 2008, they're playing to see who can have the longest losing streak. The biggest loser: the Knicks. They have now lost seven straight, the same streak the Pacers brought into this game. Zach Randolph turned in an inspired effort of 26 points, but he and his teammates didn't appear motivated on the defensive end. The defending champion Spurs come calling Friday night.

  • Magic 100, Nets 84: Letting seven players score in double figures doesn't help a team win games. That's what the Nets did, and unsurprisingly, they lost. Vince Carter had 18 in the loss. The Nets still have a great shot to play the Celtics in the first round of the NBA playoffs.

  • Sabres 3, Devils 2 (SO): New Jersey had to think it had Buffalo right where it wanted it. Three times these teams had played before, and three times the Devils had won in a shootout. This time the Devils got blasted after dominating the overtime period. Karel Rachunek and Mike Mottau scored for the Devils.
