THEATER: New York’s Clockwork Theater Company is presenting a three-week run of Jeff Daniels’s play Apartment 3A. Originally produced in 1996 by Daniels’s Michigan-based Purple Rose Theatre Company, the play concerns Annie Wilson, director of fundraising at the local PBS station, and her distress following the loss of what she thought was the love of her life. “After moving into a shabby new apartment, she searches for a reason to hope again when she meets a next-door neighbor who teaches her what it truly means to be in love forever.” – John Del Signore
8pm // The Beckett @ Theatre Row [410 W 42nd St] // Tickets cost $26.25
EVENT: It's time for another sort of secretive LVHRD event. Tonight is their ARCH DL (that's architecture duel for those not in the know). Architects from FXFOWLE (they who created the new New York Times Building) go head to head with the Konyk team (responsible for the 2015 World's Fair expo center). They will tap their inner Howard Rourke's, plan, build...and drink. Presumably, one will go home the winner.
Secret Location, more info here // $11 to $22

I think most inner Roarks would probably NOT be so big on teamwork.
Still, thanks for the Ayn Rand shoutout.
