Bundle Up!

ny1wx012108.jpgIt's a hat hair day! An arctic air mass and a strong west wind has kept wind chills near zero since yesterday, pretty much requiring the wearing of a stylish wool hat and fleece scarf. Aside from the chill, today will be sunny with a high in the mid-20s. Maybe we'll skip the shackburger today.

Tomorrow promises to be the warmest, and messiest, day of the week. The precipitation type will follow the temperature curve of the day. Snow in the early afternoon will change over to a rain-snow mix and then all rain later in the day as it warms to near 40. It'll be back to snow late tomorrow night. Any accumulation of snow will be temporary.

The weather for the remainder of the the week is looking like a yo-yo as there will be a series of weak fronts accosting us. Wednesday sunny. Thursday light snow showers. Friday sunny. Light snow is possible on Saturday. Except for tomorrow the weather should be cooler than normal until next weekend.
