The opening party for the Astor Culinary Center.

The new Astor Center is offering classes for food and wine lovers alike, taught by some of the finest in the business. Learn about the science of sweetness from Chef Pichet Ong, the art of entertaining with wine from sommelier and wine expert Marnie Old, or explore the world of offal with a head to tail dinner from Chef Chris Cosentino, hosted by author Michael Ruhlman. Whatever your culinary interests, you'll find something to suit your appetite.

    Mixologist is another word for bartenders serving overpriced cocktails.

    Picture. Guy in the middle. I'll pull his billy-goatee. Mr Effete Beret behind him gets the Moe-eye poke. Red shirt gets a simple kick in the ass.

    I'll leave the ladies alone, cuz, you know, I am not reall violent.

    Mixology is over rated. i went to Tailor this weekend and was disappointed in the flavors and offended at the prices of their cocktails. The food was good, but also over priced and a bit fussy.
