A few weeks ago we saw this guy dancing around on Bedford Avenue, attracting a lot of attention. The curious passerby aren't always human though, even canines want to know what's up with this dancin' machine!
The questions remain: who is the mystery man, and what exactly is his "message"?

Time Out did a thing on him a few weeks ago. He's pretty amazing
just an attention-seeking loser.
i'm pretty certain he lives in the mckibbin dorms.
please, someone steal his boombox.
This certainly is a mistery man here is another post on the subject
is this what passes for entertainment in 2008? a guy in a stupid outfit jumping and being barked at by a dog? people without pants on the subway?
I find it hard to believe that New Yorkers really find this kind of thing funny, artistic, original or amusing. At most it's interesting in a "Gee, look at that talentless moron" kind of way.
Now if the dog had attacked him, that would have been funny.
"...and what exactly is his 'message'?"
I'm pretty sure his message is: "Look at me! Look at me!" :rolls eyes:
Ever since her parents set her loose from the woodlands of Connecticut, Jennifer Carlson has been absorbing the New York music and arts scene. Now, over 10 years later, her appetite for the cultural wealth of the city remains wonderfully insatiable. Jennifer breathes in the stuff that makes New York unique, and gladly lets the best of it out for you to read on the Gothamist Arts+Events section.
He's really irritating. I've seen him accidentally splash and run into people. He seems like a San Francisco transplant.
Not sure why people tolerate this crap.
Has everyone around here forgotten the difference between "arch" and "cranky"?
This is actually kind of important because "cranky" won't get you laid.
The dog's like "Stop it! Stop it! You're like freakin' me out maaaan!!"
Those who can, write.
Those who can't (cough, cough eyekantspel) hang out on blogs they're supposedly too cool for and criticize.
Well Said, missnake
missnake/ivy270: Criticizing critiques of critics? how... meta.
