Watch Out Y'All - Britney's Headed East
We think NYC area hospitals should be on alert: TMZ reports that Britney Spears is headed to NYC. Well, if not NYC, something close:
"Spears left Van Nuys Airport at 4:00 PM PT this afternoon. We're told Brit Brit, Adnan and one other male passenger were on the plane. The plane is about to land at Teterboro Airport in New Jersey. Next stop ... unknown."Coupled with earlier TMZ reports about Spears apparently needing treatment for "severe bipolar disorder" (her family and health professionals "are working as a team" - a team that lets her jet across the country with her paparazzo boyfriend!), a visit to New York's club land could be the worst idea ever. Except for the local paparazzi. We wonder if the AP's NY bureau head sent a memo saying any Britney news was a "big deal" as the LA bureau did.
We can't help but remember when Courtney Love had to go to Bellevue for observation. And speaking of wacky celebrities, Donald Trump gave his 2 cents about Britney and her ex: "I used to say terrible things about Kevin, but I saw him being interviewed once and he said his all time hero was Donald Trump. That’s why he started wearing suits. So I actually think he is a fantastic guy and a wonderful husband.”

I am suprised there is nothing here about the Dr. Phil fiasco. Well, here goes:
For a man who calls himself Dr., (He has a Doctorate in psychology, so yes he is a real Dr. academically), he doesn’t seem to know the first thing about HIPAA, the federal law also know as the Heath Insurance Portability and Accountability Act passed into law in 1996 which clearly states that you can not go around revealing PHI or Personal Health Information without a release from the patient. We have all signed this document when visiting a real Doctor for the first time. Since Dr. Phil has license to diagnosis illness, in this case, the mental health of one Brittney Spears, it is completely inappropriate and illegal and subject to sanctions. What ever those penalties are, they should be applied by the patient herself and possibly her family who consulted with him. No matter what anyone thinks of Ms. Spears, Dr. Phil has no right to release PHI on anyone to any media without consent to do so. Simple fact, Dr. Phil has gotten too big for his britches. I never fell for his method of popular psychology. Seems he and Brittney have more in common than I might have imagined. She produces pop and so does he.

i agree with this guy. seriously, i don't think it's funny. the poor girl needs to be on lockdown in a rehab facility so she can get her life together.
