Lowery Looted Stein's Bank Accounts
Last November, Natavia Lowery's friends and family were screaming her innocence, but recently some pretty damning evidence came out about her relationship with Linda Stein, the woman she is accused of (and confessed to) murdering.
Not surprisingly, the ex-Ramones manager and "realtor to the stars" had plenty of cash, but she would have had more if her trusty assistant Ms. Lowery wasn't siphoning funds. The NY Post reports that Lowery was systematically taking money from her boss the moment she walked onto the job...and now the NYPD have a pretty good primary motive.
They say she hit the ATM so many times to withdrawal money from Stein's accounts, that there is now a financial forensic analyst working full time on the case. Lowery was originally found by police in early November in Virginia Beach, and surprise surprise, this is precisely where the money trail ended. The hefty bank account was opened right where they found her, and right where the father of her unborn child resides. She also used one of Stein's credit cards to buy a ticket there after the murder "and even pretended to be Stein to try to open more accounts" in her name. Lowery's lawyer is saying that this is just a latest in a string of lies against his client (who incidentally has identity theft on her prior record).
While there is no exact number on how much was stolen, the paperwork already found and sifted through places it in the tens of thousands. This is all just the latest in a case that has included Lowery blaming a ninja, a brain tumor, racism and pot smoke for the murder of her old boss.

It's not fair. All she was doing was starting a college fund for her unborn bastard kid. She hoped the child would go to Sharpton College and study money mangement.
Whatever, her mom will still proclaim her innocence.

Linda Stein obviously had enough money to use an agency that could find her an employee. How did this criminal pass the interview process? What made her think Lowery could be trusted? Obviously not much of a screening process in place. And why wasn't Stein or her accountant keeping track of these withdrawals?
She tried to pass herself off in person as Linda Stein? Does she LOOK like someone named Linda Stein?

I imagine it is difficult to think super clearly when suffereing from brain cancer. Then again, Linda Stein brought us the Ramones, so she obviously doesn't write people off if they are a little odd, which can be good or bad. Good in teh case of the Ramones, bad in the case of this young lady.

Murder is indefensible, but so is this racist banter. The Al Sharptons of the world would just dry up and blow away, if miscreants like so many of you, didn't exist. Hence, the need for yoga sticks and other mythical instruments of death.
Unfortunately, the supporters of this girl played the race card first.
Not to say I told you so, but I did tell you so. This blog was not that bad (ignoring the race-baiting fools who post on every thread) but the NYT should be ashamed of their gigantic Lede comments section that was pretty much dedicated to calling Ms. Stein a bitch.
I said from jump street that this was a grifter-kills-boss-after-being-caught-stealing murder, and so it is.
