Possible Hanukkah Bias Incident on Q Train
Police are investigating an attack on a Brooklyn-bound Q train as a possible hate crime. A group of people (WNBC says they were on their way home from Hanukkah celebrations) were called anti-Semitic phrases and then beaten up by another group of ten people at Canal Street.
The Post has some more details: Apparently one of the attackers "made anti-Semitic remarks about Jews killing Jesus, saying, 'This is a Christian country.'" But the father of someone in the attacking group who was not charged said one of the victims "had shouted obscenities about Jesus, and one of them pulled a knife," "I think it's just kids getting out of hand on both sides."
Still, two of the men arrested have had prior brushes with the law - Joseph Jirovec allegedly beat two black men in Gerritsen Beach last year and Zachary Rogalski allegedly attacked black youths in Marine Park in 2005.

Yeah, four random people on the Q train were responsible for starting "the war" (I'm not sure which one you're talking about but it's besides the point) and causing the subprime meltdown. Right.
I'm glad blacks had nothing to with this incident.
I think the only people who be allowed to be outraged by religious insults are people who actually ARE religious. If you haven't been to church in 25 years, spare me the righteous indignation if someone insults your 'Christian morality.'

made the late evening news last night,
They were in the last car of the subway, interviewed father of Rogalski who stated they're Jewish.
Muslim guy was the only passenger who came to their aid which the media made sure was mentioned.
Please remember that the Jews have suffered enough,
how could anyone insult and hurt those nice people?
