Chanukah may not be the holiest of days on the Jewish calendar, but we don't think eating pork products is allowed. Still, NancyKay Shapiro found that Balducci's is touting the deliciousness of various hams for the Festival of Lights. She writes that the gesture seems to be from the "the Monumental Cluelessness, Well-Meaning Division."
If you're celebrating Chanukah, what are you eating? We're planning on eating pounds of greasy latkes with equal amounts of sour cream and applesauce.

How ironic -- Jen will be eating latkes and I'll be eating Chinese.
This photo is fantastic!
I can't wait to have some of Safta's delicious Cholent, which I hope she is making.

This is amazing. I think we're slipping right out of trayf and into haram. Perhaps we should riot.
Fantastic!
It's as contradictory as my friend who eats ham and cheese on matzah during Passover....b/c it's okay since it's on matzah.

Just like this Passover sale!
Good thing they didn't sell them during Ramadan with a sign saying "Perfect for Ramadan" or there would be a fatwah issued against them.
babyhitler, you are an a&&hole.
Like mudshark above stated, can you imagine legions of Hasidic jews marching in the streets with fully lit Menorahs, mohels brandishing their clamps and knifes and Rabbis carrying Torah pointers like spears shouting and yelling, "Death to the goyim deli guy, kill him, kill him!!! Only in the Sudan and Saudi Arabia, and Iran, and Yemen, and Oman, and Syria, and Gaza and the West Bank...
