Last Night's Action: Knicks Show Some Life

2006_11_sknickslogo.jpg

  • Knicks 91, Bucks 88: Maybe the Knicks play better if no one is watching. They trailed by 15 entering the fourth quarter, but Jamal Crawford hit the go-ahead basket with 28 seconds remaining and the Knicsk won by three. Crawford's shot helped his team rinse the sour taste from Thursday's drubbing on national television in Boston right out of its mouth. Make no mistake, this team still needs to do a lot of work. Isiah Thomas probably knows where this effort came from as much as he knew where the game in Boston came from. But give credit where credit is due. Coming back from a 17-point deficit had to show Knicks fans something.

  • Devils 4, Canadiens 0: Zach Parise made it look easy, scoring three goals at home as the Devils cruised. That's six straight wins for the Devils, and two shutouts for Martin Brodeur this season. The only bad news for the Devils? Jay Pandolfo's groin injury forced him to sit out -- for the first time in 307 games.
