Jets Don't Give Fans Reason to be Thankful

After seeing the Jets take Pittsburgh by surprise Sunday, the Cowboys weren't going to be ambushed. They dominated the Jets in every way in a 34-3 Thanksgiving Day whupping. Anyone who sat down to dinner after the Jets' first two series didn't miss much. Tony Romo led Dallas on a quick-strike scoring drive to start the game, and then Leon Washington fumbled the ensuing kickoff. Kellen Clemens couldn't get comfortable in the pocket when his team held on to the ball, and the Jets' offense struggled all day.

On a surprising scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the most surprising, this result scores a two at best. Getting up for a game, even if it is on national television, after a short week of practice is tough for a team that entered the game 2-8. Dallas' defense doesn't do everything well, but it does pressure quarterbacks, and Clemens looked as uncomfortable as he has in his four starts. The Jets need to get some rest. They have a winnable game at Miami in 10 days.
