WNBC says that the dogs were worth $7500, not $10k.
As a dog owner, I hate it when I see pooches tied to parking meters, etc. as their owners run errands.
If you love your dog, you don't leave them tied up and unattended.
#1 If the dogs are worth that much why in your right mind would you leave them tied up for anyone to grab them.
#2 The dogs should have been home.
Some people are so needy that they have to take their dogs everywhere. They're also fashion statements and status symbols. "Look! I have expensive dogs and you don't!" Yes, I'm referring to you, Paris Hilton.
Like I say, if you can't take your dog with you wherever you go, leave him at home.
