Britain's Paula Radcliffe made a stunning race to the wire to win the 2007 ING NYC Marathon in 2:23:09. Australia's Kurt Fearnley repeated as the champion in the men's wheelchair division.

Kenya's Martin Lel won the men's division, finishing today's race in 2:09:04 with a 12 second margin of victory. We'll have more results as they become available. If you have any photos of Gothamist readers competing in today's event, please tag them "gothamist" at flickr.

Celebrity runner update: Lance Armstrong finished in 2 hours, 46 minutes and 43 seconds - about 13 minutes better than his performance last year. (He said he ran long distances - which he didn't do last year - to prepare for this year's race.) Katie "Kate" Holmes is still running the race, looks like she'll finish in five hours; Tom Cruise and baby Suri gave her a kiss at one point along the route.

And Birch Shambaugh, who is raising money for pediatric cancer research with Fred's Team (and who was our interview subject yesterday), finished in 3 hours, 12 minutes and 16 seconds - awesome!

The article on Paula Radcliffe in yesterday's Times was pretty good--it was really interesting to see how she trained so intensely throughout her pregnancy.

Thanks dbc. Readers can see that article via the link on Paula Radcliffe's name.

I could have sworn that was shawn kovell running for the crack rock at the finish line!
