Halloween on Parade

The Village Halloween Parade brought out some amazing costumes last night...and as with any October 31st, it brought out some innovative and just downright funny ones as well. Even the NYPD seemed to be having fun. Did you dress up and take part?

The LEGO people definitely win. I mean, they win for infinity. That's awesome.

The marionettes are good too. But what's with the "arrest Bush" people? I despise the man also but is it necessary to politicize every last fucking thing in this world?

Here's a couple of mine:

... going to post a bunch more to my flickr later today.

Bah, apparently image tags don't work. What a bitch.

Yea, i thought this yrs parade was pretty lame compare a few yrs ago.

Those arrest bush people certainly made the Republican parade goers uncomfortable. Couldn't these idiot peace-niks leave their politics at home for one nite?? Must be Billyburg hipsters in disguise..

By the way, the NYPD costumes should have win.

I liked the Thriller zombies.

I'm partial to the N train myself. The big walrus mustache makes him an official conductor. I swear, all the best conductors, who make the funniest commentary while driving the train have that mustache. I've been to the Halloween parade probably 20 times in my life, and it never gets old. It shows how fun this city can be when we put our dancing shoes on. I'm sick of the politics as well, Halloween should only be about having fun and vomiting up free candy.

@Dude69
Republicans should just stay out of the Village every day of the year including Halloween.
