Er...alcohol-based, as in RUBBING ALCOHOL. You know, the kind you can't drink. All hand sanitizers have alcohol in them.

Dov Hikind is the jewish John Liu. Anything to get his name in the paper.

smitty, are you sure they're not handing out pens dipped in Schlitz?

I will never understand why someone would allow a perfectly healthy tree that has been quietly, happily thriving in their back yard to be cut down for the sake of a bunch of slack-jawed tourists. And what do they get in exchange? A free night at a hotel? That's just sad.

Recommending alcohol-based hand sanitizers to be used in schools proves once again that to be elected to a public office requires no education, and no sense of understanding of the issues. This fellow might have just as easily voted to send a container load of rocket launchers to a shipping dock in Iraq and hope that whoever gets it, uses them correctly.

Schools throughout the country,as well as every licensed day care facility in NY State are banning alcohol-based hand sanitizers due to their inherent dangers--not just dry/irritated skin, but also due to other inherent dangers..profiled in last years report re 12,000 cases of child-related alcohol poisoning directly attributed to alcohol based hand sanitizers from the country's leading Pediatric Association
THERE ARE ALCOHOL-FREE HAND SANITIZERS AVAILABLE IN THE MARKET THAT ARE JUST AS EFFECTIVE, IF NOT MORE EFFECTIVE THAN THE LEGACY PRODUCTS when killing MRSA as well as the vast majority of other commonly transmitted germs and bacteria...One product is called Soapopular, and a blog that discusses the various alcohol-free products is www.handhygienefacts.blogspot.com
