Hate Crime Stupidity Continues
The person who hung a noose on the doorknob of a professor at Columbia's Teachers College the other week seems to have been a catalyst for NY metro idiots, who have been been copy-cating or otherwise emulating public displays of hateful symbols. Most recently, Parks Dept. employees were appalled to find 10" nooses wrapped around the necks of their clothes when they opened their work lockers in Queens Saturday morning.
Kenny Clark and Michelle Rouse-Williams are both supervisors at the Queens facility; Clark is party to a class-action lawsuit against the Parks and Recreation Dept. that claims minorities are passed over for promotion. When Rouse-Williams opened her locker and found the noose, her reaction was natural. "This has got to be a f------ joke."
In addition to the latest incident at the Parks Dept. station and Columbia, nooses have been found at a Brooklyn high school, around Long Island, and at a post office near Ground Zero. Lest hatemongers leave anyone out, swastikas have also been popping up around the city--in Brooklyn Heights, on a schoolbus, and on synagogues. The Daily News article has a bulleted time line of incidents over the past month involving swastikas and nooses in New York.

i bet you some of it could turn out to be boy cry wolf.
Tawana Brawley has said she wasn't involved according to Rev. Al Sharpton her spokesperson.
she got good money out of it. and alot of guys were defamed and al still haven't apologized.
Getting back to the issue at hand, the correct response is, as Rouse-Williams declared, "this has got to be a f*cking joke." Unfortunately, it isn't a joke. I don't remember ever hearing a funny joke about hanging someone from the neck until they are dead.
I swear, the world is full of morons. These copycat crybabies can't come out and say what they want to say, so they act like five-year olds and place nooses around like that for what? A statement about how much they like someone? I don't think so.
And which one do you think may be a "boy who cried wolf" syndrome? If there are ten such incidents proven true and one is proven to be a set-up, does that mean the other nine are invalid, too?
You know, I'm OK with mummys, vampires, and werewolves but I've never liked the Halloween setups that show a hanging corpse. Now maybe people get my point.
Nevertheless, this wave of noozes may turn out to be a bunch of miscreants out to piss off people just because they know those people don't like it. Lots of swatiska graffiti comes from teenagers out to get a rise out of old jews.
The more you say you hate something the higher the chance that someone will use it against you.
What's the big deal? It's just a piece of rope.
c00n: Give me a break. I wonder what you might say if your history had a bit of lynching in it.
I'm anticipating the "Some of my best friends are black" response from you.
Isn't there some psychological condition described by Oliver Sacks where the sufferer can tell what something is factually, but doesn't really understand what it is? Might want to look into that, c00n. But then, why bother? You're just a piece of carbon-based lifeform.
To the matter at hand: is it me, or does there seem to have been an increase of hateful crap like this? Hope someone catches these insecure cowards before it escalates into something more violent.
Relax. It's just rope. Nobody got hurt, right?
You're reacting as if dogs were being tortured for sport and gambling. C'mon now.
Relax. It's just rope. Nobody got hurt, right?
A guest figured out how to register.
Wow, what a chicken shit action. I mean, seriously - what a bunch of total and complete pussies to do this in the dark of night when no one can catch them in the act. What is the world coming to when a New Yorker doesn't even have the guts to say what they think to your face?
PS, in case you missed it, the people who did this are fucking wimps.
