Thank god we went a day without some incident of stupid racially motivated vandalism. I guess what they say is true, no noose is good noose.

An Upper East Side man was killed in a hit-and-run early this morning. The police are looking for a Mazda Miata with damage to the front.

I'm surprised a Miata would still be driveable after hitting a person. The impact should have holed the radiator for sure.

People who dress up their pets in costumes should be arrested and charged with animal cruelty.

People who DON'T dress their pets up at Halloween don't know how to have fun.

sorry hulaedwyn, you can have fun without treating a sentient being like a barbie doll. pets are not toys.

hulaedwyn, you meant fun for you or your pets. If only the pets can speak, or at least bite the hands that try to put a bonnet on them.

I dress up my kid for Halloween, so why not a pet? Maybe the pet would like it.

It's not "stealing" just because the pinheads at Streetsblog says it is. Lock your bike to someone else's property (in this case the MTA's) and they have a right to remove it.

Again it's purely for the owners' pleasure to dress up their pets. At least when kids are old enough, they will definitely let you know if they like to dress up or not. But most pets don't have a choice. Some owners unfortunately can't seem to take a hint when their pets try to rip or bite off their costumes.

I mean, look at the picture. Somebody went so far as to glue a book to their poor dog's paws. If that doesn't convince you we need a law against this, nothing will.

Folks, just to be clear, that picture is courtesy of Photoshop. No animals were harmed in the making of the photo.

This, however, is not Photoshop.

hahahah... my fellow commentators make me laugh sometimes.
