  • Popular online ticket reseller StubHub.com has opened a brick and mortar retail location on 40th St. near Broadway in Manhattan.
  • A collection of photographs taken between 1938 and 1941 by Walker Evans with a camera hidden in his coat as he rode the subway will be auctioned off at Christie's. The famous photographer felt that the anonymity of the subway was the one place where people truly let their guard down.
  • The MTA is testing out a hybrid diesel-electric bus that will run quietly along 42nd St. The bus will get 8-10 miles per gallon and run 125 miles between recharging.
