REMINDER: Don't forget about the Atlantic Antic Festival, which we wrote all about yesterday.

200709dumbo.jpgEVENT: The d.u.m.b.o arts center (dac) presents the 11th Annual Art Under the Bridge Festival. The three-day fête takes up 30 blocks bringing together over 1500 visual artists, 250 open studios and offices, and an expected 20,000 attendees. Given much of the music biz in this city has offices in that area, they'll be taking part as well. The Deli Magazine is throwing a two day long music, fashion and art show of their own. More details on that can be found here.

THEATER: Like Harrison Ford before him, actor Tim Ryan pays the bills between bit parts by working as a handyman. Not content to wait until his Han Solo comes around, Ryan has created an entertaining one-man show called All the Help You Need, The Adventures of a Hollywood Handyman. (The show was a NY Fringe Fest award-winner.) “After placing an ad as a handyman to earn money during the actors' strike, Ryan is inundated by a case of needy characters worthy of a Hollywood film plot. When a chance encounter on a prospective job leads him into mortal danger, the hilarity ends and Ryan is left wrestling with the repercussions.” Broadway.com calls it “an engaging one man show about being both the guy in the spotlight and the guy rewiring the spotlight.” – John Del Signore
