New York's municipal cable channel NYC TV is making its shows available on demand for online viewers. This could be the biggest workplace timewaster ever invented, because we love shows like "Secrets of New York," "Cool in Your Code," and "$9.99." NYC TV has revolutionized municipal TV in the last few years by departing from standard public access fare and presenting well-produced, interesting programming that offers a lot to both New York newcomers and lifelong residents alike.
A link to all of NYC TV's shows is available here. Above is a link to a video clip from "Secrets of New York" that examines the work of New York's sandhogs on Water Tunnel #3, almost 70 stories below ground. Now if only the city could start posting videos of Mayoral addresses, city press conferences, and City Council meetings . . .

Whoo-hoo!
I love Secrets of New York. It is terrificly informative and amazingly campy.
We need a good Secrets of New York drinking game. I'll start:
Drink every time...
Kelly Choi is hot but they need to cut out that campy trenchcoat routine --it's boring and masks her bright personality. The show was much better when she just went around the city talking people up --making the guys feel awkward to have such a hot lady standing so close for the camera.
Agreed #3. Also she should lose a lot of the makeup. She'd look prettier without it.
Great, now maybe we can stop wasting a perfectly good cable channel sending this stuff to every household, and given Time Warner Cable their bandwidth back so we can get more HD!
Kelly is a babe. The Matrix trenchcoat has got to go.
Kelly also hosts Eat Out NY on Wed. nights, where she's much more normal. I don't know how she can eat so much and still remains so damn skinny. I guess some Asian women can eat and eat and not gain an ounce.
I want to probe tunnels with Kelly Choi.
no NY Noise?
wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Kelly is hot.
