First, the Marlins stink and made six errors. Second, Carlos Beltran hurt his knee trying to catch a ball in center field. Third, the Phillies also won, beating Washington to keep the pressure on. Pedro Martinez didn't look at his best, but he did get two big strikeouts in a row when he needed them most and the game was still in doubt. It was easily the least impressive of his four starts since returning from his rotator cuff injury.
