It's time for Time Out New York's fifth annual food-stravaganza featuring tastings from over forty participating restaurants and beverage purveyors. Get a bite from L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon, Mai House, or Morimoto while sipping on drinks from Chopin Vodka and Stella Artois. Tickets are $100 and include a copy of the 2008 Eating & Drinking 2008 guide. Skylight Studios, 275 Hudson St at Spring St. 6:30–9:30pm. September 26: Pink Party
Re-capture the taste of summer while benefiting Living Beyond Breast Cancer. This tasting event will features 15 rosé wines and a new rosé glass by Riedel, which is making a donation of 15% of the price of the glasses, which retail for $50 for two. Tickets are $45 in advance and $55 at the door and are available online -- you'll also get one glass. 5-8 pm at Duvet, 45 West 21st Street.

September 26: Jimmy's Brewhaha
This week at Jimmy's pair up chocolate beer and cheese at a tasting led by Ellen Mirsky (em Chocolatier), Chris Cuzme (New York Homebrewers) and Anne Saxelby (Saxelby Cheesemongers). $30, Reservations are required and can be made by email. Jimmy’s No. 43, 43 E 7th St between Second and Third Aves. 6:30–8:30pm or 8:30–10pm.
