This Just In: Heath and/or Michelle Move Out of Brooklyn

200809moving.jpg

Earlier this month it was reported that Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams called it quits, and the big question was: will their Boerum Hill home be on the market soon? A resident of that area took the above photo this morning, apparently the house on the corner of Dean and Hoyt Streets is the home of the New Victorian royalty. We wonder if they just Googled "celebrities moving" and that's what came up.

Just because they split up does not necessarily mean they are both moving out. Maybe Heath likes his home or just living in Brooklyn. He will have a new partner soon, if not already, and they can share the place. Nonetheless, it's sad ---- especially that they have a child. It's so ridiculous with actors. They seem to fall for someone every time they make a new movie or get engaged quickly or even marry and the relationships rarely last. I wouldn't want to live in their crazy world!

A tall wooden bookcase and a large bagged down quilt has been put out in front of 193 Dean Street, between Hoyt and Bond, Brooklyn to be picked up by anyone who needs these items.

What about the actress Theresa Saldana(not that well known or as famous) who was stabbed 10 times at the front door of her home in New York in broad daylight back in 1982? That attacker flew in from the UK to see her.

Just because we know where someone famous lives is no reason to tell everyone. That's sort of name dropping, but more dangerous - to them. And for what reason? Give them a break.

Personally I don't care what these people do, but giving address info is a no no. The neighbors don't need the freaks either, and just because someones job is very public doesn't mean that they deserve stalkers etc....showing up at their door.

i'm sure the moving van got a ticket for parking in the bike lane.

Of course, anyone who says no one is better than anyone else is right, and no one's life is worth more. But there are realities that go along with celebrity to ensure that they get the basic protection that we get because of our anonymity. People in NY know where they live, sure . . . it's well known. But what most of us DO NOT have to deal with is our addresses, photos of our home, our child, etc. posted on the internet for the entire world to see. And most of us do not garner the interest of thousands of people internationally, either. The more people who focus on you, the more at risk you are.

I know of one man who flew from Europe to Brooklyn to stalk Heath. He did not get this info because he lived in the neighborhood and knew just like all the other neighbors. He got it because blogs posted this actor's address and photos of his house all over the internet.

You're right. No one's any better than anyone else. But most of us don't have to worry about that happening to us.

any stalker worth a salt would already know where they live.

  • guest

why do you guys keep saying "new victorians"

as i recall (first hand, of course) there were also slums during the Victorian era - not just wealthy people in Brooklyn.

  • guest

i used to live on that block. my, the neighborhood has changed. hope they don't get stalked now...

    BOREDOM HILL

I can't quit you, said Heath,

    You might someday improve;

So here's what you gotta do,

    Michelle--you gotta move.

  • dadoc

Do not recognize the names and don't care.

Irrelevant people in an irrelevant situation.

If someone wants to stalk them, and they're moving out, who cares.

    Basically, not news, just "pap".

so what if there are psychos everywhere?

so having a kid makes one better?

    oh forgive me your highness.

  • guest

    Celebrity Moving?!? ROTFLMAO

Heath and Michelle's dream of Hobbit living are done. Buh-bye.

  • guest

are you guys kidding me? if you live in boerum hill you already know EXACTLY where they live. hell, i knew before i lived there. it's also pretty obvious when you walk by and see all the video cameras outside and the multiple car garage. seriously, it's not a secret.

  • guest

right on #15! jen use your fuckin' brains.

  • guest

WHY don't give out their address? Because they have a kid and there are psychos in this world...

  • janelle

shut up! that photo is too much.

  • guest

    who?

  • guest

    why? again, why?

    because they're Celebrities? I don't get it.

    Aren't we all created EQUAL?

Besides like the majority of the posters above wrote, We really don't care. and we still won't care even if we did know where they live.

  • JRod5417

Note to self: go to corner of Hoyt and Dean with long zoom lens tonight, tomorrow, etc. Call TMZ. Thanks for the tip!

  • guest

    why? may I ask?

are they special???????? Are they more prone to crime and threats than us regular people?

Is their life worth more than yours or mine?

  • zodak

    have to agree with #8.

  • guest

OK, we all know they live in Boerum Hill but I think it's not cool to practically give out their exact address.

  • Mags

That's so funny! Maybe they thought it was so obvious that no one would think it was actually them. Like, would a celebrity REALLY use 'Celebrity Moving' trucks!

Courtney Love is insane. I thought she was going to kill or severely disfigure a woman standing next to me backstage at a Hole show ten years ago.

  • guest

what shocked me was reading some bs during fashion week that courtney love didn't know she had 8 million in her bank account.

  • guest

what is with you people? this is gothamist. all things relating to Gotham - and any borough of it, too. why are you crapping on the writers? if you don't like it, read something else. or grow some respect.

  • guest

    don't care.

  • guest

Do actors really think a relationship is going to last, especially when they meet on set? I don't care if they want to have a fling but what possesses people like this to think having a kid is a good idea?

  • guest

hey jen, what is this the national enquirer? lame!!!!
