Man Suspected of Three Subway Robbery Attacks

The police are looking for a man they believe robbed three women in Manhattan subway stations. The attacks have taken place in the past week and a half during afternoon hours.

September 5, 4:30PM, at the 23rd Street and 6th Avenue F station: A man pushed a 35-year-old woman down the stairs.
September 8, 1:30PM, at the 8th Avenue and 34th Street A/C/E station: He pushed a 50-year-old woman "to the ground and took her purse" (WNBC)
September 10, 3PM, at Broadway and 40th Street entrance of the Times Square station: The man grabbed a 37-year-old woman on the stairs, pushed her to the ground and took her purse. The victim needed stitches.

The suspect is described as a black man between 30-40 years old and around 6'3". If anyone has information, call Crimestoppers at 800-577-TIPS.

I think I saw this guy back in August, he got on my subway stop on west 231 street in the bronx (1 and 9) train, I didn't notice him until I got of the train, he followed me up the escalators at 59th street columbus circle and harrassed me a bit. I was very nice, but a little frightened. And then he wouldn't leave me alone and kept asking me for my name and my number... to the point where the guy who was walking with me noticed him and slowed down. I ran into the starbucks across the street... I was a little shaken. He was very tall and very slender, wore a hat, blue jeans and a polo shirt. I called crime stoppers and gave them the info I had but she didn't seem too interested and she didn't want to take my contact info. Oh Well, hopefully they find this guy.

Man, what a friggin wuss! 6'3" and all he can do is attack women. Pick on somebody your own size! Pushing women down stairs and a 50-year old to the ground? Better not let me catch him first. He'd get a taste of his own medicine, preferably right onto the subway tracks.
