They should have just destroyed it and moved the sign to LaBarge. That 'building' looks condemned.
what they'd used that for? Target practice?
Holy shit! Jonathan Larson must be spinning in his grave!
It's gonna be a chicken coop.
What was the point of hauling it all the way to Wyoming?
this looks very sad, but from the film footage linked to below, it seems they are working on fixing it up:

I'm sure the good folks of New York are not as shallow minded as the author of this article is. I think that the Moondance arrived in fairly good condition considering its age and the distance it traveled. Due to the urgency of the situation, there was not much time to prepare for the arrival. I regret that our little town is viewed as ugly, but to the generous and kind people that live here, it's a little slice of heaven. There are quite a few people that moved here from what might be considered much more exotic and beautiful places, myself included. Right now, restorations are in progress. We are honored to have the Moondance in our town. We've met some very nice people from NY and hopefully, we'll meet a few more (just not the author---I've no time for simple minded people). And BTW, the town's name is La Barge, not LeBarge. Thanks!
