Pencil This In

MOVIE: Guess it's only fitting that Trey Parker and Matt Stone's Team America play somewhere tonight. This Bushwick theater is new and on an outdoor rooftop -- so check the sky before you head out. If it's all clear, get ready for food from their grill, drinks from their bar and the wind in your hair.

7pm // New Moon Theater [97 Moore St, Bushwick] // Free

2007_09_arts_hack.jpgREADING: Our favorite cabbie turned author, Melissa Plaut, is reading from her book, Hack: How I Stopped Worrying About What to Do With My Life and Started Driving a Yellow Cab, tonight. The title pretty much explains it all -- and we assure you she's got some amazing stories from her time behind the wheel.

7:30pm // Barnes & Noble [396 6th Ave] // Free

COMEDY: Alright nerds, and comedy fans, and Superhero wanna-bes...tonight is your night. "Iron your capes, unplug the Bat Signal and set your decoder rings on awesome: the Comic Book Club is in session! The Comic Book Club is a weekly comic book talk show featuring the best comedians in New York talking shop with industry professionals from all corners of the comic book world." The night is hosted by Justin Tyler, Pete LePage, and Alex Zalben.

8pm // The PIT [154 W 29th St] // $5

THEATER: For the first time in over a decade, hardcore East Village legend Penny Arcade performs her landmark shock comedy BITCH! DYKE! FAGHAG! WHORE! Created in 1990 as a reaction to Senator Jesse Helms’s attempted castration of the N.E.A., her show rocked the downtown performance world with its powerful critique of the Christian Right as well as of the politically correct Left, ultimately becoming a hit in over 22 cities worldwide. One night only! - John Del Signore

10pm // Spiegelworld [South Street Seaport, Pier 17] // Tickets cost $35.

PARTY: If you like punk, drinking on Tuesdays and $2 PBR (and who doesn't, really?) then Punk Rock Tuesdays is the place for you. They promise "cheap booze, trashy old movies, and some riotous music." Tonight features Madame Rosebud from the burlesque group "the Peach Tartes", Evil Knievel's feature film debut and a movie in which Ronald Reagan co-stars with a monkey.

11pm // 200 Orchard St // Free

And here is our round-up of the 9/11 events happening today and tonight.
