Lamborghini'd Lil' Kim License- and License Plate-Less
If you get a Lamborghini, we suppose it's only natural to want to immediately take it out for a spin - even if it doesn't have license plates. The police pulled over a black Lamborghini in Midtown yesterday after noticing it lacked plates. And its driver happened to be Lil' Kim.
According to 1010WINS, the performer said the car was a gift to her and had just been delivered. And when Lil' Kim pulled over at a gas station on 11th Avenue and 51st Street to discuss the matter with the police, it turned out she didn't have her license either!
The car was legally registered and Lil' Kim was not issued any summons. As for the car, her lawyer came by and drove her away in the car. Now that is why you keep lawyers on a retainer.

Wait, she was driving without a license, and a vehicle without plates, and she wasn't issued a summons?

She shouldn't be driving around without her license, but the car was registered in her name. She didn't break any traffic laws, and she wasn't drunk - so who gives a crap. Just another over-privileged idiot.
I'm with #1 and #7 too! Apparently the rich and famous don't need to obey the law the same way most people do.
People get pulled over all the time for not having valid license plates and are let off with a warning. If the car was registered in her name and she is a licensed driver but just didn't have her license with her, the only real violation she committed was not having plates on the car.
While I think we tend to let celebrities get away with a lot, I don't think any injustice was done in this case.
It IS against the law to drive without one's license. Being on probation and having pending cases, this just shows that Kim is an incredible fool. I feel a lot less safe walking the streets of new york with the prospects of an idiot like this behind the wheel of a 400+hp death machine.
She should at least get a fine/ticket for driving a car without a license.
Leave her alone! She did nothing wrong. She is just trying to keep it real. This criticism is because she's a talented, upstanding black woman.
I agree with #17. Lil' Kim is both a philosopher and a scholar. This is yet another conspiracy by the so-called white man to prevent brothers and sisters from rightfully assuming their dominance in the world. I know it for a fact that when she was arrested, she was on her way to a public school in Harlem to speak to the young brothers and sisters about her attendance at the 5th Annual World Congress on African Linguistics held at Addis Ababa University in 2006. Unbeknownst to most, and especially those white cracker devils, this sister is an expert on the syntax, morphology, phonology, phonetics, and semantics of at least 13 African languages. But the truth shall never be suppressed! No sell out!

My understanding is she HAS a license...just not on her. It happens.
Hmmmm...let me think. On probation from the big house, and someone gives me a fancy car...with no plates. So I settle the problem...by driving without a license!
