When Anchors Hook Up
Since the spring, the Post’s Page Six gossip column has for some reason been following the strange saga of the love life of Long Island native and Philadelphia television anchor Alycia Lane, who bears more than a passing resemblance to Liz Cho. It has, of course but it has provided some strange entertainment since May when the tabloid revealed that she had sent e-mails containing private photos of herself to NFL Network anchor Rich Eisen that were discovered by his wife, ABC Sports reporter Suzy Shuster.
Yesterday, Page Six informed us that the twice-divorced Lane, who works for the CBS owned station in Philadelphia, is now linked to WCBS anchor Chris Wragge offering up photos of them walking the same (SAME!) dogs, albeit not together or at the same time or even showing shots to compare dogs. Wragge, as you may or may not know is currently separated and heading towards a divorce from his wife, former Playboy playmate and Swedish Olympian Victoria Silvstedt.
The two anchors are rumored to be traveling together extensively despite a WCBS spokesperson denying the rumors. The Post however got friend-of-Lane and Inside Edition reporter Trish Bergin to say the pair was headed out to the Island, "I've known Alycia and Chris forever. I'm having a bunch of TV friends over for a barbecue. No big deal, though."
The Post even gloats, “The source said Wragge reached out to Lane after reading about her saucy exploits in Page Six.” Now given her 2004 appearance on the Dr. Phil show to talk about her first divorce, we are starting to think that she may be doing these attention grabbing things to get on the national radar, or at least the radar of the number one market.

Too bad sooo few of the viewers know what an unstable person alycia lane is. she presents an alter ego on the news and her station promotes her as if she is thsi worldly prompter reader. But sadly that is all she is. She has trouble initiating anything on her own and constantly blows up at people when she is in a bad mood day. She has little regard for the people who try to make her look good on camera…one more example in a list of how Alycia treats people around her. And the reason she Can’t stay married…guys, let’s NOT blame it on long distance or her ex cheating behind her back as she claims. Alycia has a pattern of “choosing” wrong situations. Why? Because she is unstable. Only wish she would come clean and admit that she has a problem deeper than can be fixed on DR PHIL (before she wrecks more marriages)

Do people know that alycia lane is actually a very difficult person to work with? I doubt it. Guys- she is so difficult and she lacks the grace and charm required of an anchor in this business. She is not that great looking in person…trust me. She is all hyped up by cbs which is NUMBER 3 in ratings for its news division
Lane's co-anchor down there is the former host of Access Hollywood. What a crack news operation.
They have another station, ABC I think, down there with some guy with the 'stashe of a 1970s porn star and music that sounds like it was from a porn flick from the same era. You half expect Ron Burgundy to come jumping out of a 1974 Plymouth Satellite in the main titles.
And how can I forget the NBC station down there who has Vince DeMentri as an anchor. You may remember him from channel 2 where he impersonated an ATF agent claiming he lost his ID when the WTC went down.
Alycia is a class act and is one of the coolest people to work with. She is as genuine as the come a pro, and never mistreats any of her co-workers. In fact, she's very down to earth. Both bosses and co-workers love her. Whoever is writing this, clearly doesn't work with her. As for her divorces, she has had bad luck or made bad choices apparently..but lots of people do. She is far from unstable... anyone who knows her would know that. How stupid to blame unfortunate marriage situations on someone's 'stability'. Just wait til it's you. In that case, half the world is unstable. So there you have it. Oh and by the way, Alycia was offerered the WCBS main job more than a year ago (multiple times) and turned it down repeatedly - so she is certainly in no need of any help or "recognition". Reading this vomit just makes me sick, some people just wanna hate.

With regard to the Photoshopping, it was more than just her head, it was her entire upper body that was added, from a similar screen grab where here lower half was behind an anchor desk.
alycia has a hot body. petite, but hot.
