Tomorrow morning, around 4:51AM, the moon will start to pass through the Earth's shadow for a lunar eclipse. However, with the full eclipse estimated at 5:52AM and sunrise estimated to start for the NY area at 6:19AM, WCBS 2 says some people also call it a "sunrise eclipse."
The East Coast only gets a half hour of the full eclipse, when the moon is red and orange, what with the sun rising and the moon setting. The above diagram shows when the partial and total eclipses begin and end. Here's more information from NASA.

Where can I find out where in the sky the moon will be for this? I want to figure out if it'll be blocked by buildings before I set my early morning alarm...
I ain't lookin' up. For me, it's solar or it's nothing.
First off The term "eclipse" is irrelevant ! If you look up at the last one you all would have noticed it wasn't a truly full eclipse . This is the result of the Moon's journey away from the Earth . Which also results in Marine changes . Posted by; "Still Not Amused"
I was up early and took a few photos of the eclipse.
you can see them on http://www.theweblicist.com
I am tired now from getting up before the crack of dawn, lol.
