- Today on the Gothamist Newsmap: a person under a train at Prospect Park and Windsor Pl. in Brooklyn, an attempted bank robbery on Jerome Ave. in the Bronx, and a successful bank robbery on East 23rd St. in Manhattan.
- The Fire Dept. is responding to a scaffolding fire that broke out at the Deutsche Bank building, which is being deconstructed on Liberty St. downtown. One firefighter has already been evacuated from the building and being given CPR.

there is a group of parrots on ave. O between west 3rd and 4th in brooklyn as well. I'm not sure of the name of the neighborhood as it's been called gravesend and bensonhurst. anyone care to enlighten me?
I arrived at the 15th st station shorty after the incident. A man somehow ended up on the tracks and was run over. He was alive when pulled off of the tracks and someone said he then went into cardiac arrest. There was a shoe on the tracks and a bloody face mask that was left behind by the medics. Pretty scary.
