Using What You Learned on TV on Your Mugger

In the crazy world of muggings, one 54-year-old victim got even with her mugger. The Post reported that Silva Natividad, a former model, beat her attacker "senseless".

Natividad was on First Avenue near 38th Street when Jonathan Burkes grabbed her money. Then, because she was "pissed," she went after him in this manner: "you know how in 'COPS,' when they jump on the person before they run away? That's what I did."

The two traded punches, even after Natividad retrieved her money, she kept hitting him. Then Burkes got free and ran away, only for Natividad to chase him down. She called 911, saying, "if you don't come and get this guy I'm going to kill him." The police told the Post that their arrival "saved" Burkes, who was charged with robbery.

what a hoot. she was a gas, saying she kept on hitting him and hitting him and the more she hit him the more angry she got. How dare he mug someone here. she was mugged by the kips bay houses.

COPS has got to be the best show on TV! It has all the elements that a free society needs. Just look at those guys haircuts, high and tight. None of that liberated Serpico type doos.

Awesome! I also learned from COPS: always stop at red lights and all stop signs when you have drugs in the car.

You go, girl. I know someone is going to say that she risked her life to get her money back, but really, the anger you can feel at such a violation of your space and property gets the better of you. I'm glad this worked out for her, but I'm sure the guy is now going to go after her for assault.
