MUSIC: Former Fugee Lauryn Hill will be giving a rare performance in Crown Heights tonight. The Grammy winner hasn't put out a new release in nearly a decade! So there's a good chance she'll be playing a lot off of 1998's The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. Sean Kingston also performs.

The 1928 film (directed by King Vidor, who also brought The Fountainhead and War and Peace to the big screen) focuses in on marital woes and the big city. Whimsical theater company Hoi Polloi was inspired by the controversial history of the Shambhala Buddhist community to create Dysphoria, a humorous riff on the personality clashes and sexcapades in a crumbling religious community.
