Mediabistro is reporting that someone got an advance copy of the latest Harry Potter novel and published photographed pages on the Internet.
An animal protection group on Long Island is offering a reward to find the person who tied a dog to a tree, apparently doused it with gasoline, and then lit the animal on fire Monday. The dog succumbed to its injuries today.

you guys seem to be very strict with you "comment policy".... why not create a similarly strict style book? you know.. one that requires spell- and fact- checking. just a thought.

it's not really passive-aggressive if you don't know who to confront (who's littering, who's dog is shitting, who's tagging the door). all you know is where its happening, so a note is the best you can do, short of hiding by the door for 24 hours waiting to catch the jerk doing those things.
