With Friends Like Her . . .

shootsfriend.jpgAn argument between two women out on the town last night devolved into gunplay in the Meatpacking District. WCBS reports that the shooter and her friend/victim were at the Pizza Bar on 9th Ave., and left shortly before 4 am. The women, who are described as being passengers in a three vehicle caravan, were arguing when the older woman (27 years old) shot her younger friend (23 years old) in the lower torso before fleeing the scene. The victim is in stable condition at St. Vincent's hospital and police are still searching for the so-called friend who shot her.

NY1 is reporting that the shooter could be female rapper Remy Martin, who allegedly drove from the scene of the crime in a dark blue Cadillac Escalade that was then crashed a few blocks away before the driver fled on foot. NY1 is referring to Remy Ma, formerly known as Remy Martin, who is a former collaborator with Fat Joe and his Terror Squad and was featured on the hit single "Lean Back." Sources told the local news channel that the victim may have been part of Remy's entourage and the shooting was the culmination of a fight that began inside Pizza Bar. Remy has a MySpace page, but hasn't blogged about any shooting yet.

only friends let friends shoot each other.

Ah, Yes! Hip Hop "culture". Perhaps the only lifestyle more deviant is that of Islamo-fascist headchoppers.

The Boondocks: "nigga moment"
Look it up on youtube. It is amazing.

Remy Ma? I thought she was chinese for a second.

Gee, a rapper shooting someone. With an entourage. In a Cadillac. You know, if someone wrote up a teleplay like this, they'd be called stereotyping racists.

This is why I'm not friends with black people. I used to be young and "that's so racist of you" when people were racist but after living in New York you learn that black people really are goddamn criminals. It's not racism, it's the truth.

Me too. I thought she/he/it was a Chinese too but then I also thought Chingy was Chinese too. Goes to show you how much I know about rappers wanted to be Chinese.

I haven't yet heard from the Rev. Sharpton about this outrage.
