Di Fara and Dom are Back!

Dom DeMarco at Di Fara
Pizza lovers in the city can breathe a sigh of relief as Di Fara is back, after being temporarily closed by the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. We couldn't detect any obvious changes to the pizzeria and Dom DeMarco was with head gear and sans gloves creating pizzas in the traditional way.

When we visited yesterday, they were doing their normal brisk business with a mix of locals, some MTA employees having lunch, people making a pit stop on the way to the Coney Island Mermaid Parade and pizza enthusiasts from throughout the city. Several passersby shouted words of encouragement through the window and a few customers expressed their joy at Domís return.

Most importantly, we didn't notice any change in the quality of the pizza. Sampling both the regular and square, we found it as good as ever. Thankfully, whatever the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene asked for didn't change the quality of the finished product.
