Pizza lovers in the city can breathe a sigh of relief as Di Fara is back, after being temporarily closed by the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. We couldn't detect any obvious changes to the pizzeria and Dom DeMarco was with head gear and sans gloves creating pizzas in the traditional way.
When we visited yesterday, they were doing their normal brisk business with a mix of locals, some MTA employees having lunch, people making a pit stop on the way to the Coney Island Mermaid Parade and pizza enthusiasts from throughout the city. Several passersby shouted words of encouragement through the window and a few customers expressed their joy at DomÃs return.
Most importantly, we didn't notice any change in the quality of the pizza. Sampling both the regular and square, we found it as good as ever. Thankfully, whatever the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene asked for didn't change the quality of the finished product.

"sans head gear"
huh? are we looking at the same picture?
there's no indication that the picture was taken yesterday, Nick
silly me, i'm used to reading news stories that have pictures from the actual event being reported on. that'll teach me!
oh, just noticed the copy was changed. take that, guest commenter #2!

Awesome.
You mean I won't be able to get the rat dropping pizza anymore?
I want pizza right now.
We were there that same day, waited 2 hours and they still forgot our order. Eff that place. It's not *that* good...
