Upper East Side plastic surgeon Brad Jacobs is without a medical license, after the state health department charged him with a number of violations, including smoking crystal meth with a patient as well as placing implants that were too large into another. The Post's headline - "What a Boob!" - while the Daily News goes with "State calls him doctor demento."
Jacobs, who has a practice on East 86th Street and told the Post last September he was opening a "Star Butts" clinic, is accused of having sex with patients after they recuperated in his apartment (smoking crystal meth on one occasion), making patients' breasts much bigger than what they wanted, and "leaving a woman's nose deformed after removing too much cartilage" (Post). And the state health department got into the act after patients sued and complained that Jacobs, as the Daily News put it, "made their breasts so big they fell apart." Eek.
While Jacobs can appeal his suspension at a hearing on June 28, there's also a chance his license could be revoked. You can read the State Health Department's press release here, which accuses Jacobs of gross negligence, negligence, incompetence and moral unfitness.

Looks like Dr. Brad Jacobs didn't make the list.
i hope he gets his license taken away permanently. he was my plastic surgeon and he did a horrible job, plus he was verbally abusive towards me. i never sued him but i really should have. too late now, but at least he is getting what he deserves.
dr. jacobs is a very bad man, he only cares for money and does not care if he mutilates his patients. this news is no surprise.
Dr. jacobs is an amazing doctor. He did a beautiful job on myself and many other friends. These greedy people should be ashamed of themselves.
So I know for a fact that Dr. Jacobs uses an escort service frequently in New York, bodymiracle.com. I know Dr. Jacobs for over 10 years now. Not only he gave me the most gorgeous implants, he also fixed things that my previous doctor messed up. He has great, professional office ethics and I CAN NOT believe what some people are saying here. Hello??? It is your decision to go under the knife- don't expect your body to agree with it, because sometimes it will not. It's easier to blame the doctor instead of taking responsibility for your decisions. There are people out there who purposely f*** with their scars so they can sue the doctor for millions. Dr. Jacobs did nothing but good to me, he's a wonderful doctor and human being.
