The Jolie-Pitt's Are In Town

Internationally beloved Angelina Jolie and her less philanthropic beau, Brad Pitt, are in town. They're making headlines, too, with things like wearing inexpensive clothes and going to the doctor. Fine, we'll bite...

Last night at the premiere of A Mighty Heart, Jolie wore a, gasp, $26 crushed velvet dress from a thrift shop! Of course, she then paired it with crystal-heeled Christian Louboutin shoes. As for what Angelina accessorizes with her brain, earlier in the day she was seen carrying a copy of Dave Eggers' book, What is the What.

Brad took 3-year old Pax to New York's International Pediatric Center this morning. When asked about upcoming Father's Day he told Extra, “It’s Father’s Day around the corner? I didn’t even know…I’ll just get up with my kids, that’s enough for me!” But Angelina assured the paparazzi, “The kids are making things.” Phew! (If they run out of supplies, they might be at Lee's Art Shop on West 57th - Team Jolie-Pitt has been spotted there during a previous visit.)

And attempting to keep focus on her latest film, Angelina Jolie's lawyer issued contracts prior to the premiere, stating what could and could not be asked by the media:

• No questions regarding her personal relationships
• In the event Interviewer does ask Ms. Jolie any questions regarding her personal relationships, Ms. Jolie will have the right to immediately terminate the interview and leave
• The interview may only be used to promote the Picture. In no event may Interviewer or Media Outlet be entitled to run all or any portion of the interview in connection with any other story
• The interview will not be used in a manner that is disparaging, demeaning, or derogatory to Ms. Jolie
• The tape of the interview will not be released to Interviewer if any of the aforementioned things happened

Not everyone would sign, and USA Today, the Associated Press and others canceled their interviews. When Jolie heard this news, she in turn canceled all print interviews. This may be why every item today is about her dress and her kid going to the doctor. We wonder what Jon Stewart is allowed to ask tonight on The Daily Show!
