Bizarre West 15th Street Rape

Another strange, upsetting tale from the club district: According to the police, a 25-year-old woman was dragged from a West 15th sidewalk into a parking garage where she was raped last month. The Post reports that the woman, who was walking along, had dropped her cellphone, and when she "stooped to pick it up, she lost her balance, slipped and passed out" right outside a parking garage.

That's when 24-year-old suspect Juan Castilla - an employee of the garage - allegedly saw his opportunity. According court records, he hauled the woman into the garage and put her inside a limousine parked there.

The woman says she soon woke up from her boozy haze and saw another man who worked at the garage performing oral sex on her. She told cops that, although she demanded he stop, the man proceeded to rape her. Castilla also allegedly raped her inside the limousine, authorities said.

It's unclear what happened next, but at one point, the woman was able to get into the driver's seat of the vehicle while no one was looking and use the long luxury car to race to safety.

The incident apparently happened on May 27; the victim came forward on June 7 and Castilla was arrested. He denies that he raped the woman, claiming that he only gave her a place to rest and that he had consensual sex with her. It's unclear whether the second alleged attacker was charged.

And Castilla and the other worker were fired when the limo went missing (it was found in Connecticut).

#10: I would say that white women are not the predominant victims, just the ones you hear about the most. She is lucky to be alive but to blame her is misogynistic. You just probably are attracted to white women but feel like you can't get one.

am i crazy or does it seem odd that you would attack someone by going down on them? i mean, shouldn't it be the other way around... making the victim perform an act or be a part of an act that gets the attacker off? i guess it's conceivable that juan likes eating pussy so much that he comes from it but it still seems kinds weird... like kidnapping someone and taking them to a really expensive dinner.
