EVENT: FreeNYC reports on a new happening at Pete Wentz's Angels and Kings (aka: AK-47). It's Nerdnite! Tonight, "Matthew King presents a stunningly creepy visual account of the state of mental hospitals in the Northeast, and lawyerly nerd Brendan Kehoe discuss lawsuits that threaten Google and YouTube, and therefore, all of our spare time at work."

7pm // Angels and Kings [500 E 11th St] // Free, 2 drink min

THEATER: Anastasia Traina’s new play From Riverdale to Riverhead is in previews at the intimately elegant Studio Dante, a small theater built by Sopranos star Michael Imperioli and his spouse Victoria, an architect and designer. The drama’s action ricochets around an overcrowded car plowing through a massive snowstorm en route from The Bronx to Long Island. The vehicle’s occupants are four temperamental women racing against the clock to visit with Franky; he’s waiting for them at Riverhead Correctional Facility and visiting hours end at 6pm. Will they make it in time to see him and before too many family secrets explode in the car? (Sopranos fans may be further intrigued by cast member Sharon Angela, who played Rosalie Aprile in the series.) - John Del Signore

8pm // Studio Dante [257 W 29th St] // Tickets cost $35.

MUSIC: We've made no secret about being huge fans of Loney, Dear. They played both our CMJ House and SXSW show over the past year. Now they are at Webster Hall opening for The Sea and Cake. Check them both out, as well as openers The Zincs. Tickets are still on sale! Also check out Loney, Dear's video for "Saturday Waits," which features many, many cute dogs.

6pm // Webster Hall [125 East 11th St] // $20
