wait. Banksy is anonymous? i thought he was Banksy?
The special election is for an Assembly seat, not a City Council seat.
John Lindsay was a Congressman from that area of the Upper East Side. He was neither a City Councilman nor a State Assemblyman.
Uh, "driving while intoxicated, and driving"
Isn't that a tad redundant? Proofread please! =(
9:24: it's not redundant. He was underage, and thus did not have a driver's license. Thus, his mere act of driving was illegal.
A 17-year-old kid was shot once in the head and once in the chest in an East Harlem KFC last night.
At least he didn't eat any trans fats.
It was actually a Kennedy Fried Chicken not a KFC.
"it's not redundant. He was underage, and thus did not have a driver's license. Thus, his mere act of driving was illegal."
Okay, you got me there.
There seems to be a typo here. The post reads:
"A short film showing the anonymous street artist known as Banksy installing his own works inside the Metropolitan Museum, along with identifying placards."
when it should read:
"A short film showing the cowardly vandal known as Banksy trashing the Metropolitan Museum."
Might want to fix that.
"Ironic?" What have I been screaming about in every posting EVER about the Moynihan Station? It's a sin against history to let them put another MSG in the building after what they did to the original Penn Station. Whoever is letting that thing go through should be dragged through the streets of Manhattan on a rail by the members of the Municipal Arts Society. Anyone who thought this wouldn't happen is either totally ignorant or just plain stupid.
MT, who said a new Madison Square Garden automatically had to ruin the new station. Sports fans NEED this new arena. The current Garden is an eyesore not because of its purpose but because of when it was built and what it replaced.
ohh, it works!
