So, if Chestnut wins a year's supply of hot dogs, is that a year's supply for a normal person or a year's supply based on eating 59 every 12 minutes?

Cut the guy some slack. He's from Chicago. Probably never saw sauerkraut before in his life because they don't use it. They prefer onions on their hot dogs.

I think Kobayashi's going to have a surprise or two up his sleeve (or down his gullet, as the case may be). Don't count him out. On the other hand, I'm still waiting for the day a contestant's belly just explodes in the heat of competition. I wouldn't stand too close to the table...

the ifoce site says that the dogs were nathan's famous hot dogs and that it was a qualifier for the july 4th event. i assume that it was an ifoce sanctioned event as well, so the rules were the same as the july 4th competition.

Were they Nathan's hot dogs? Kobayashi wooped chestnut's ass in the Crystal burger competition. (Sliders) But he kept it close till the end. You know kobayashi would up his game. Let the white trash eating contest begin!

sounds fishy to me. They probably were lax in the rules and weren't enforced. Oh well, at least we'll have a good competition with Chestnut and Kobayashi this July 4th. It's gonna be the heavyweight bout of the century!!!!
