Thanks for that beautiful photograph! I just got back from kayaking with the Long Island City Boathouse folks at Hallet's Cove in Queens. I can't tell you enough what an amazing feeling it is to be in a canoe or kayaking on the rivers of NYC. It's fantastic. (Insert toxic water joke here.) I highly recommend it.
That NYPost article got me worried - will those bars now be targeted by the dep. o'health goons? Glad they didn't unearth my favorite underground lightemup joints!
