I am more disturbed by the idolatry of presidents on money. Bring back the more symbolic Liberty coins. Screw the dead presidents. I have to agree the use of money for marketing is lame as well.

The word "mint" is misleading. The Franklin Mint has nothing to do with the government. It is just a private company that manufactures so-called "collectibles."

How can it be legal tender? The answer: It's a regular U.S. minted quarter which has some spiderman gunk painted on it ... by the Franklin Mint.
