owner of the truck probably knows that his truck was painted - since the artists did his company info too. he probably commissioned/permitted the truck to be painted, like many art handling companies do.

Could be that they were just looking at Manhattan, I'm not sure. They also said something about the average cost of rent being over $2600 - which, even if it's Manhattan, there's a whole lot of real estate above 110th that should shoot that average way down. Of course, this is what I get for watching an HGTV special about NYC anyway.

Right, Forever stamps, with a picture of the Liberty Bell, will remain at 41¢ and remain usable and valid as first class stamps, regardless of how high the price of postage gets.

HGTV was probably not averaging in the cost of apartment-like residences such as cardboard boxes or "A van down by the river!" when computing its average. That's probably the root of the discrepancy.

I have to wonder how the average price of NYC apartments is computed. I was watching a show on HGTV about the best places to live, and they claimed the average was $1.3 million. I'd be more willing to believe the figure quoted here. I know real estate has gotten nuts, but I thought that was a little extreme.
